Número 1 de Predator: Concrete Jungle (1989).
Predator fue una serie de cómics basada en la franquicia Depredador, que comenzaron a ser publicados por Dark Horse Comics en 1989 con Predator: Concrete Jungle, historia que sigue a John Schaefer, hermano de Dutch Schaefer. La línea inició en 1989 y finalizó en 2021 cuando Marvel Comics adquirió los derechos de Alien, Depredador y Alien vs. Depredador.
La línea tuvo muchas clases de cómics; teniendo historias originales bastante exitosas como Concrete Jungle, Cold War, Big Game y Dark River, así como adaptaciones cinematográficas de Depredador 2 y Depredadores, historias precuela o secuela de alguna película como Predators y Predators: Preserve the Game y también historias entrelazadas con las otras líneas (Aliens y AVP) en los eventos Xenogenesis, Fire and Stone y Life and Death.
El último cómic que salió de la línea Predator fue Predator: Hunters III, ya que Predator: The Original Screenplay fue cancelado al poco tiempo que se anunció. La gran mayoría de estos cómics de la vieja línea fueron recopilados nuevamente en los omnibus The Original Years Predator Vol 1 y Vol 2, los cuales salieron entre 2022 y 2024.
